I am a geographer interested in landscapes and social change, urban planning and rural areas in post socialist countries. I also work on spatial planning strategies with respect to environment, cultural and historical context. I got Master of Science degree from the Department of Geography, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, USA, 2017 and Lviv University in Ukraine, 2009.

Я також працюю над стратегіями просторового планування з увагою до навколишнього середовища, культурного та історичного контексту. Отримав ступінь магістра географії в Університеті Південного Іллінойсу Едвардсвілл, США, 2017 та Львівського національного університету ім. І. Франка в Україні, 2009.

Займаюся дослідженнями ландшафтів та містопланування в постсоціалістичних країнах як інструменту для соціальних змін. Я також працюю над стратегіями просторового планування з увагою до навколишнього середовища, культурного та історичного контексту. - values, preferences and social construction of normativity
- social change and space, theories of development
- qualitative and mixed methods, ethnography
- urban and peri-urban areas in post-socialist countries
- planning and urban policy, landscapes
- geographies of Eastern Europe, the USA and Russia
- critical geopolitics
- ontology of land
Beyond the research work I am fascinated by multi-day cycling, stratovolcanoes, old bridges, banana stickers and watching ski jumping.
